We had our little chap out on the long training lead this morning and it went really well. He's super-responsive most of the time, doesn't seem to even notice the training lead while he's running around. He's even started paying attention (sometimes!) when he's spotted another dog approaching. It's not that he's aggressive; just does the sheepdog stare and hits the deck until the dog gets nearer, then he'll have a sniff and maybe try to play and if the other dog's not interested he goes on his way. After he's started the stare it's rather hard to snap him out of it
