best brush for daily use

Post by BCMumto3 »

My 3 border collies enjoy getting a brush every day but their old brush is pretty much useless now (given that its almost 10 years old i'm not surprised , lol)

I already have a furminator , but what's the best brush for daily use on double coated dogs ?

I was just looking at this ... what do you guys reckon ?

Honey loves to be groomed and I usually groom her everyday (because she finds it relaxing). I use a Kong Zoom Groom on her and my 3 cats and they all enjoy it better then anything else (I've have the type of brush you posted and a furminator too!).

As it's rubber I'm not as worried about hurting her skin with regular grooming. It's amazing how much hair it gets out really quickly too.

you have to find what brush works best for your dogs coat.
i brush my dog 3 to 4 times a week. i use a pin brush
and an undercoat comb. i brush in all directions with
the undercoat comb. i use the pin brush on his
head, legs and underneath him. i smooth him out with
the pin brush.

if your brushing daily then I would just use a comb. When I groom a dog in the shop no matter what breed if they have long hair I use a comb if there not matted with undercoat then I use an undercoat brush and a comb.
