Hello Everyone,
I have a winning shampoo and conditioner! I get fantastic results with it on my collies.
I use to have a sable rough collie called Cookie, her coat was neglected and was matted, coarse and stinky.
For a while I tried exspensive shampoos, but they never worked. My mum had been using baking soda and vinegar for her hair of late, and it was looking very soft and healthy.
So I decided to try it. The instructions are below:
Shampoo
1 cup of baking soda in a large cup.
Fill the cup to the brim with warm water.
Mix well, then massage into wet coat. Then rinse well.
Conditioner
The conditioner is a simple one of white vinegar.Vinegar smooths things and makes it soft.
If you don't like the smell of a vinegar dog, put 1 drop of lavander oil in it.
But you hardly smell it. The instructions are below:
3cm of white vinegar.
Pour onto coat, count to 15, then rinse well.
Towl or blow dry or put your dog in the sun. When dried brush thoroughly.
It works
Use every two weeks, or as often as needed.
