Dog needs a job?

Post by master2 » Tue May 17, 2016 10:32 am

OK just got back from a walk with both my dogs and I was talking with another GSD owner and he asked what job do I give Sherlock. I told him he brings me the mail still intact. He has several puzzle toys , I also set up a scent trail in the garden for him and then just lots of play. He said so he dose not have a job as all GSD need a job like search and rescue or PAT dog or working triels ect.

Is he right that all GSD need a job. I thought lots of physical and mental exercise was what he needed? :?

You are right. Dogs need pleasant and stimulating occupation. Different dogs like different things to do. They don't need careers.
