My current rescue family: Mozart doesn't have blue eyes its just the flash on the camera. His eyes match the brown in his coat. Riley is the newest rescue she's 7months old. The oldest is Sabsatian at 12.

Thanks Phoenix and Wvvdiup1....Pheonix cute german shepherd pic...I had a german shepherd for awhile..she was amazing and a real gentle giant at 100 lbs.

Thanks DogzRule1996 Yes the parrots talk. Joey and Sabastian are constant talkers SelaBird tries. Sabastian calls me Mama and is really obsessed with Mozart..he seems to know that he has issues and needs extra supervision. He calls Lily his baby..she is missing a foot and is very gentle with her. Joey has quite the mouth on him sounds like he may have lived with a redneck. They all get along so well really an amazing group.

Jacksdad....yeah its a little zoo.. its gotten a lot smaller since my mom died...I have to turn many requests down. I have to keep it a small number these days...but I do have an interesting assorted group. Wish I didn't have to say no but I can only have what I can personally handle. I only take abuse cases and some folks just want to use me as a dumping ground for unwanted pets..they get angry when I say no but life goes on...I have someone who sponsors their monthly food and supplies and get donations to help with the vet bills...so I'm blessed. I haven't been able to do a nonprofit..turns out that costs money too...so it comes down to vet care or lawyer fees...vet care wins...but its been working out okay as is. But yes its quit the little zoo...well kinda with just parrots, cats, dogs.

Good for you - I'm sure all your animals are much better off because you don't overload yourself!

Thanks Sabrina...you wouldn't believe how awful people get when I say no..relatives included..usually the first thing I hear is.."I thought you rescued animals and really cared about them" "what's one more" ...I do what I can to find someone else for them to call. It's rare that I get a response like yours. I'm a rescue/sanctuary..its hard to adopt them out because of their problems so its never "just one more". Though I am so excited I followed up the other day on a recent adoption..she is doing so well...such a diva now...she's a goffin cockatoo who wasn't expected to live...took three years to get her a home but it was worth the wait...she sooo happy! She was an amazing success case because she was so highly aggressive and was such a cuddle bug by the time she was adopted and snuggled with the new family right away.

DogzRules1996 I have some videos on youtube..its hard to video most of the time they focus on me instead of just being themselves..but there are a few on youtube..if you go through them Sophie is the one who was recently adopted...My macaw loves tacos so I made a video of him eating one for the local manager of taco bell. The youtube music policy messed up a lot of my videos..some I replaced with free stuff that doesn't really work...or they are just silent now. The first ones were photos because I didn't have a video camera.
The first link I'm posting is of Lily and Mozart...Lily is missing a back foot but still has the leg...Mozart is the one with learning disabilities..Lily is a little slow too (she was born blue and remained that way for 24hrs..it was a really awful backyard breeder situation)but they are both very nurturing as you will see. These are two kittens I bottle raised
