Victoria's new dog

Post by Victoria »

I'm very excited to introduce our new dog, Sadie. We formally adopted her last week and she has settled in really well. Sadie is a five year old chocolate lab, who had been living in a home with an elderly lady who was unable to exercise her. Consequently she put on a lot of weight and was very uncomfortable. Poor thing. She lost a bit before coming to me so she is feeling more spry but with daily walks, a good diet and lots of TLC she will get her energy back. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. My daughter is besotted and even my cat Angelica has accepted her. Photos to follow.

Nice to know you have Sadie now , you seemed so excited about having her to come and live with you and your family . Have you started her understanding towards yellow Labs yet . I guess it will take some time for her to understand not all yellow Labs will hurt her .. Look foreward to seeing the pictures of her , she sounds fab from what you where saying about her at the seminar at Hartley Wintney.

Congratulations! I hope she will grow up to be happy and healthy :)
I recently adopted a puppy too but she has Parvo and is making slow improvements.

Here's a pic of Sadie with me from the cover of the current issue of K9 magazine. I'll get more pics of her by herself and upload them soon.

K9 magazine is available at most UK newsagents, and definitely at larger shops like WHSmith, etc.

Have you tried your local Tesco? They sell it in both of the ones near me.

Now that u mention it I've never seen a K9 magazine in any shops where I live either. Maybe you could ask at the counter if they could order a copy for you? :?

There isn't a Tesco near me, several Asda's, Sainsbury's, Sommerfield's and Morrisons.
