3.5 month old puppy can leave it!

We've been working really hard with the leave it command pretty much since we brought Zelda home, however it never occurred to me to put it to practical use until yesterday. Outside our home on our current walk path is a pile of mystery grossness that Zelda has been wanting to get to for weeks. Every time we walk past it, she strains and struggles to get to it. Out of a tad of desperation, I told her to "leave it". Her ears perked up, she came right over to me, and we continued on our walk. Not before I showered her with treats and praise of course.

This morning I tried it with the cat since she won't leave the kitty alone (to be fair though, the cat is provoking her...as they do). Success!

So proud of my pupster.
