Yay!!!

Post by **liz** »

Riley will sit on command! he is only 8 weeks old and i am so proud of him!!
also, today he met my sisters dog, rex! and they had so much fun together, i was so relieved! rex did tell riley off for biting his tail but he was gentle!! it was a perfect end to a bad day! (i was feeling a little bit stressed this morning due to lack of sleep and wee and poo in the house!)

its not much of a success story but i am so happy and i want to share t with you all!!!

Every little step forward is a very big success Liz, these little steps forward end up with us having a well mannered, well socialised and obedient dog which is what we all want. :D

Every success is important, whether its something going the way you planned even though you had no reason to suspect it wouldnt go that way..... or its something working out surprisingly well even though you thought it probably wouldnt!

This is why positive dog training is so good.... we are looking for the positives, setting things up so they happen, reducing our chances of failure. Acknowledging the success is rewarding!
