SIX WEEKS without a bite or a growl!

Post by jrh258 »

Hi all, not sure if Sadie has matured or I'm just an awesome trainer (ha!) but it has been six weeks and Sadie has not bitten, snarled or growled at me! Once in awhile if I get very close to her when she a high value thing she'll freeze and give me that hard stare, but I back off and then she goes back to chewing. I can also get a lot closer than I could before, I'm talking within a meter (although I try to not get even that close- it's just sometimes she settles down near a door or something!). I'm not pushing it, really, and she still eats in isolation and I don't give her anything she can't finish in one sitting, but hey, I'll take it!! I never thought we'd get to this point, what a relief!!
