Proud Mum Alert!

Post by Trinity'smum »

Its pretty windy here this morning, so I didn't hear a very fast moving dog approaching from behind. Trinity had just dropped her ball for me to re-throw. As I bent down, the dog ran past my face between us. Her ears went forward but she didn't lunge or bite, her hackles barely came up too.

Think our "little" girl is learning that not all other dogs are scary, and you can assess a situation without biting first ask questions later!

May seem like the tiniest step but for us this is amazing.

Think I got a bigger fright, I am super vigilant at watching and listening to where other dogs are, I was totally shocked when one appeared out of "nowhere".

Way to go Trin! :D

Well done,Trinity :D Achieving a change in how your dog feels about a situation, rather than just a new trained behaviour, is a real success!
