Rose's progress

Post by Emmaloo »

Hi all! Not sure if you remember but I have a puppy mill rescue Yorkie and she's making excellent progress. Today I have the day off work and I just took Rose on a regular walk around the block. :D It was slower than a normal dog's walk would be, with lots of extra time for sniffing, but she followed my lead (almost) everywhere, and didn't need to be picked up and carried, even over the scary ice and snow. She's starting to try more ways to play, including a game that involves her rushing over and tagging my foot, right now she is making this very hard to type as she demands ear-scratches.

We're still definitely out of our league with training her, though, so next week we have a Positively-certified (or whatever it is) trainer coming over for a 90-minute session.

So,,, yay! That's all.
