TRYPHTOPHAN

Post by NickyG »

Does anyone no where i can get tryphtophan from? It was reccommended in a show with a weirmarner... The carrots and rice appear to be working nicely, but as advised on show i would like to top it up with the tablet form. Was also wondering on portion sizes of the carrots and rice for a 30kilo dog?
\many thanks

I get mine in powder form from bio-alternatives.net. But you should talk to a professional about the dosage. Also be aware that the tryptophan is not a substitute for training. It helps the dog maintain a calmer disposition and it helps the dog learn. I saw some great response from Murphy last summer when I put him on it. But he was getting two 1-hour walks and lots of training every day. So be careful, talk to a professional, and be sure you're still exercising and training your dog.
