On our morning walks we pass this house with 2 little terriers, who bark at everything that moves.
Sometimes they are outside in the front yard (invisible fence keeping them in) - then they run up to the line and bark, bark, bark..
Other times they are inside, then they jump on the window sill and bark. And they are two loud little dogs, I mean LOUD.
This morning we were out early, 6 or 6:30 or so. Noone out yet, very quiet everywhere. Passing that house, all windows still dark.
As we are passing by (slowly, I must admit, Ari sniffing things as we go, not in a rush) - I hear, of course, loud barking from the window.... Followed by a desperate scream from one of the dark bedrooms - "WHEN IN GOD'S NAME WILL THIS STOP?!?!?"
I felt a little guilty, us causing yet another interrupted sleep. We'll try to be more sensitive next time and pass quickly.
