Re: What are you and your dogs up to today? Part 2

He's got his first vet appointment with me tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's not a fight with the vets over minimal vaccination and no neutering and raw feeding...though I won't be bringing any of it except the vaccination up until they ask, honestly. Given that they can't chops his bits off / follow ...

Re: Vent!

This morning's exercise in Darwin involved a woman pushing a pushchair with a child in the seat, another standing up on the back, and a hard-pulling labrador tied to the pushchair. Sigh. :? Maybe the second child standing on the back was to counter balance the lab  A staffy once pulled over ...

Re: What are you and your dogs up to today? Part 2

Yay Erica. I'm going to be totally fascinated by Delta's development as I have almost no experience, real life or 'tinterweb based, of standard poodles. I was struck by how unpuppy like they looked and also by how calm they were around you. They seemed quite thoughtful also, which I know from Ted is...

Re: The ladydog and being on heat

I've not been around much as I'm semi obsessed with gardening at the moment having never had a garden of my own before. Anyway, I digress. Ella started her first season on Thursday (so we're on day 4), she's 10 and a half months old, so much for tiny breeds coming in really early  . Apart from...

Re: Cookies

I don't know anything about tax in your next of the woods but here you'd not be taxed until you hit £9.5/£10k income (including any other income you may have obviously). Now, now offence to your cookies but I'd be surprised if you ended up making so much money that you were taxed on it!

Re: wormcount

Ella was last wormed at 10 weeks old by her breeder. I had her tested at 6 months and all clear

I'm not a breeder so I don't need to worry about the up to 10 weeks stage but so much for having to do them every month :!:

I don't think we have this one do we? It's from July '06 but I've not read this one before. Interesting.

He looks so happy, you've obviously done a great job. I love the jump in the air trick that you do :D

Tell the camera person to hold their phone the other way round next time though  :D

Re: Susan Garrett's Recallers

I'll be updating on this thread for sure. It is a lot of money but I've got 2 weeks to cancel if I don't think it's for me (Day one is tomorrow) and there are a LOT of people on there that are on their multiple go through which suggests to me that it must be good, although you could also argue that ...

Re: Susan Garrett's Recallers

She does have terriers, yep and she was working with a poodle on the webcast, and talked about lots of other breeds.

By the way I'm SORRY for typing f**e on-**ne because it seems to have caused a new wave of blummin' spam

You can pay in instalments if that helps you at all :(

What you describe is exactly why I've signed up, I need a structure round me to keep me motivated, it's never the dog is it

Re: Vent!

I am not going to visit and be the one that delivers bad news, and I hope very much it IS what they thought they'd bought. Why can't people wait? Let's hope also that it has gotten some socialisation regardless of what is turns out to be. I've got a friend who's been having behaviour problem...
