I'll try them. I did put out fat balls, but the bits dropped below the cage, (and the cages themselves) were encouraging rats. I switched to the same stuff in pellet form, which disappears like snow off a dyke so the birds get fed but the rats get nothing. I'll start putting out some fat balls again...
