Re: Three Roomates

I agree. As I said in the beginning why did they need a top dog behaviourist to come tell them how to behave lke human beings? I would not have got on tv and admitted to living like that, would you? Absolutely amazing some people.

Re: Three Roomates

I thought it was plastic with sort of astro turf inside. I didn't watch that one again during the latest run of repeats as those girls disgusted me so much. What absolute sluts to live like that at all, never mind in someone else's house. I doubt they will keep up the work that Victoria suggested; t...

Re: I want to nip this in the bud!

Just wanted to say well done for getting rid of this old fashioned, idiot trainer. About this sofa business...........you say you live in Yorkshire? Could her not wanting to get up and go outside to the loo have anything to do with the heavy snow? It is just a guess, but can you trace it back to whe...

Re: Three Roomates

I think the landlady girl was wonderful for putting up with it for so long. I would have kicked them out straight away, as Victoria said herself. Why would you want to live with dog poo up the walls and under your bed, of all places? Unbelievable!

Three Roomates

I have just watched an episode where this poor girl had advertised and got three roomates into her beautiful house. These girls all had little dogs, but the owner did not, and they were just messing, vomiting and weeing all over the house and not one of the lazy wotsits cleaned up after them. The gi...

Re: Major Problem... Dog Hates Roommate

Personally, I would suspect that he has done something to her, even accidentally. I agree with what Ladybug says, he must not approach her. He may think he is being reassuring but she does not understand this at all. He could try throwing a treat for her when she is calm, but still not approaching o...

Re: Alarms?

I have tried one with a pedal. He puts his foot on it and opens it. My one has a lid which you push and it pops up. Didn't take him long to figure that out! It is safe enough in the cupboard, as that has a knob that you turn so he cannot open that.

Re: Alarms?

Oh, yes, I have put it in a cupboard. I was just wondering that's all. They have been repeating the programme on the Sky channels using these alarms and I wondered where they came from. I don't want to use one. I used to keep the bin in the downstairs bathroom, but it has a sliding door, so last wee...

Alarms?

Fan anyone tell me where victoria gets the alarms that she puts on cupboards and fridges and things? These seem like a great idea, but I have never seen them in the shops.

Re: DISPLACED AGGRESSION?

Fundog is quite right about not grabbing her collar. If she is outside, I would keep a lead on her so that you can get at it quickly and lead her away. I have two newfoundlands, weighing 12 stone and 11 stone respectively. They have never shown any aggression toward each other, in fact they adore ea...

Re: Roxy English Bulldog 8/17/10 repeat

OhioRuthie, I posted almost exactly the same comment on another forum after I saw that episode. This "friend" hoped that Victoria would agree with her that the dog should be given up because she was convinced the dog would attack her daughter, even though she was in no way people aggressiv...

Any failures?

Don't get me wrong, I love Victoria and all the wonderful work she does, but it would be interesting to know if she has ever had any dogs that she couldn't sort out? And was that down to the dogs themselves (unlikely) or the owners not keeping up with the training and advice?

Re: Where does she find these dumb dog owners?

I remember a UK episode where the owner had a Jack Russell (I think) that was messing everywhere and she couldn't understand why. She had never toilet trained this dog and thought he would "figure it out for himself". Is this dumb or uneducated? (I don't like the word ignorant, although it...

Re: Bernese Mountain Dog & Small Owners

I am 5 ft 4 in and weigh 9 stone, and I have nerve damage in my back. I manage to walk two newfoundlands, one 12 stone and the other 11 stone, with no problem whatsoever. I have to admit that I keep a headcollar on the bigger one for back up only, as he is stubborn and if he sees another dog I want ...
