I miss the original version too :/ but the US version is more educational than entertaining, which is actually good seeing as America is so spoiled. Our culture is different from England so our viewpoints or perspectives on things are sometimes different. That's probably why the US version may seem ...

Yeah, I wondered about that because I'm sensitive, especially to the cold. The heat just makes me feel I want to pass out. For now, I just use something like Icy Hot or ActiveOn to help the joint and muscle pain. My everyday pain is in my neck, shoulders, back, and fingers. I have to run warm water ...

You have the symptoms for an under active thyroid and many people with fibromyalgia have this, it is part of it, so off to your doctor and get this checked. Once you are getting the right medication you will be a lot better. I didn't know that an under active thyroid often comes with FMS. That's in...

I also have this so lets tackle the fibromyalgia first, unless this is sorted you can't walk your dogs. I don't know how long you have had it or know how much knowledge but going to assume very little for the other memberx. It started when I was in a car accident in the 8th grade (according to my d...

I REALLY need help for my dogs =/

I am totally aware that obesity is a human problem and not a canine one but after taking my eight-year-old German Shepherd mix to the vet, we discovered she has thyroid problems, thus her weight gain. She LOVES going for walks and whenever I walk my one-year-old pup, she howls and whines and doesn't...

Sad Video

I got this from a friend in an e-mail called "In Hope: An Animal Shelter Story." It's really sad to see the animals in those terrible conditions :( In Hope: An Animal Shelter Story As a nation, we claim to love cats and dogs. Millions of households have pets, and billions of dollars are sp...

Thank you so much Owdb1tch for the advice :)
I'm glad to say we've decided to keep her and she has made a lot of improvements. She is becoming more playful now than she used to be and she is putting on some weight, since she is quite skinny.

My puppy has Parvo but she's making slow improvements. I think she's doing a lot better than before. She was 2months and 3wks when I adopted her from my local canine shelter. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c185/horsieluva25/JustMary/attachment-46_1.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c185/horsi...

Thank you so much! But unfortunately, I found out today that my puppy has parvo. On a scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being the worst, she's between a 7 and 8. She's not eating right, she seems kind of depressed and not as active as a normal puppy would. Before I decided I wanted to adopt her, I was aware I...

I just adopted a Golden Retriever mix from my local animal shelter. She is two months and four weeks old. On the third day, I was able to teach her the "sit" command. She has a lot of training ahead of her--she's still a little anxious but nothing serious. She is great around everyone and ...
