friend for a golden retriever

I am thinking of getting another dog in the next few months, I lost my spaniel a couple of years ago and it's only now I can think of having 2 dogs again. I already have Charlie a 5yr old GR who is a great dog, good natured, biddable, playful but very, very messy :D I've posted a pic of him in photo...

I give my dog a Kong with some wet dog food and his dry food in it, but I don't think it lasts for very long, once he's licked most of it out he loses interest. I've tried different things in there but the wet and dry food combo seems to be the best for him :D

Well, in addition to my golden retriever I have a 13 yr old cat who believes she is in charge of the dog and quite possibly me too!
